The VA AWWA / VWEA Accident Prevention and Safety Committee invites you to the 3rd Annual Safety Seminar.
To be held in Verona, Virginia on Thursday, July 23rd at the Augusta County Service Authority.
This one day seminar is designed to provide the latest information on major safety issues such as electrical safety, work zone safety, proper use of respirators, VOSH and the proper use of chain saws. This is a great opportunity to present new information related to water and wastewater utility safety issues. Hands on chain saw training out in the field will b provided along with presentations on the safe usage and maintenance of chain saws. Qualified instructors will allow all participants to demonstrate the proper maintenance/usage/hazards and cutting techniques of the chain saw. This field training is an engaging and very rewarding session highly acclaimed by past participants.
